Brooklyn Heights showhouse

Meagan Camp Interiors was invited to participate in the 2022 Brooklyn Heights Showhouse, a bi-annual event benefiting the Brooklyn Heights Association. We designed the Solarium, inspired by the traditional use of solariums, when wealthy 16th Century European landowners created interior environments to grow citrus fruits. It was this historic reference that led to our Garden-inspired design; we brought in a palette of mostly green, and an eclectic mix of outdoor pieces with classic furnishings. The antique items and traditional styling link to the more historic floors below, and offset the clean, modern lines of the room. This mix speaks to our love of incorporating both vintage and modern pieces for a visually intriguing design.
