STANDISH APARTMENT
Nestled among the classic brownstones in the heart of Brooklyn Heights, this circa 1903 Beaux-Arts building was converted into luxury condominiums in 2017. Our clients wanted a space that paid homage to the historic neighborhood, nods to their European travels, while remaining current for their young family. We included heirloom pieces inherited from our client’s family, mixed with child-friendly and stain-preventative fabrics, and designed extensive custom millwork with clever hidden storage. The lacquered finishes on the ceiling and mantle bounce the light coming off the harbor, with views overlooking the Statue of Liberty.
